Completion 2011 Hirai, Edogawa-ku Tokyo RC Structure Ossuary
This building was built in the narrow site inside the Jinmyou-ji temple, in the downtown of Tokyo. We designed the building in a modern simple form as owner’s request. We focused on installing the external balcony panel as an attractive accent. The beautiful patterns of leaves and cherry blossoms are punched on this solid aluminum panel, which patterns are related to the Nichiren sect. This building design was favorably accepted by neighbors as a symbolic status in the area.
